Swoop Service: your camera roll, fully produced
You shoot it. I produce it. It's that simple. Fully produced video content right from your own camera roll, put together by HindLight Media in Rome, Georgia. Great for teachers, coaches, and avid family vacationers.
Your camera roll, fully produced
Send in the footage already sitting on your phone and get back a fully crafted video - no shoot day, no editing software.
You pay for what you send
Swoop is metered, not packaged, which is what keeps a small job small.
What gets counted is the runtime of the footage you send, not the length of the finished video. Photos count at 10 seconds each, so six photos make a minute. A season of games costs more than a handful of clips, because every minute has to be watched before anything gets cut.
Swoop edits are non-commercial by default. Ask about commercial options if the video will promote a business.
Three steps, zero hassle
You shoot it
Phone footage, camera roll clips, vacation videos - whatever you've already captured works.
You send it
Send over your videos and photos. Photos count as 10 seconds each. Say where it's headed, a group text or Instagram, so I cut to fit.
I produce it
A fully crafted video delivered back to you, ready to share. I sort the clips, cut dead air, and add music.
Small habits that make footage cut better
Framing
Pick an orientation on purpose
Horizontal for a website, vertical for Reels and stories.
Skip the zoom
Zoom softens the picture and the move is hard to hide.
Timing
Hold shots longer
Count to five after you think the shot is over.
Roll before and after
A few seconds on either side gives room to cut.
Sound
Mind the wind
Wind across a phone mic ends up in the video.
Watch the room
Traffic and gym noise too. Get close to whoever is talking.
Built for people who already hit record
Teachers, coaches, and families who travel are the heart of this one. The same thing happens to a business owner who films a job, a church back from a trip with video on six phones, an event organizer holding vendor clips.
For business content on a schedule, start with short-form and social video. The video production cost guide covers bigger projects.
What an edit can and can't fix
An edit hides a lot, but it cannot add what was never recorded. A voice buried under wind or gym noise stays buried. Heavy shake stabilizes only so far, since stabilizing crops in.
When the video really matters, a company story or a recruiting push, a real shoot is the better call.

Swoop Service questions
How do I send you my footage?
Start on the contact page or give me a call and say roughly how much you have. Phone video is usually too big to text, so I sort out the simplest transfer. Videos and photos can come together.
How is the price calculated?
By the runtime of the footage you send, not the length of the finished video. The rate on this page is $5 / minute of video received, with a $5 minimum.
What if my footage is shaky or the audio is bad?
Send it and I'll tell you straight what's usable. Color, pacing, and levels improve rough footage, but sound that was never recorded cannot be added later, and heavy shake stabilizes only so far.
How long does it take?
It depends on how much footage you send and what's on the schedule, so you get a timeline once I have seen the batch.
