Drone videography and aerial video in northwest Georgia
HindLight Media shoots aerial video of real estate, land, roofs, events and job sites in Rome, Georgia, plus Cartersville, Calhoun, Dalton and across northwest Georgia. It's a view a camera on the ground can't give you.
Aerial footage in a finished edit. More below.
Aerial video for every angle
A drone changes what a video can show. It takes in the whole property, gets a look at a roof without anyone on a ladder, and gives a film a sense of scale people remember.
Real Estate & Land
The lot, the acreage and the setting, shown from above. It matters most on farms, hunting land and large parcels buyers need to understand. See the real estate video work.
Roofs & Structures
Close views of roofs, buildings and hard-to-reach areas, documented from the air instead of from a ladder.
Events & Weddings
Wide establishing shots of the venue and the crowd. Aerials can be part of your wedding film wherever the venue allows it.
Construction & B-Roll
Progress shots of a job site and cinematic B-roll that lifts an event film or a brand video.
Aerials in finished videos
A coastal city from overhead and an event at night, each cut into a finished video. Press play on either one.
Anyone can buy a drone. Austin brings the license.
Austin Wiggins is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, so commercial flights are done legally. He's also a working cinematographer, so the footage is shot with a film in mind, not just pointed at the ground.
The First Call
Tell me about the site and what you need the footage for. The date and the timing are settled on that call.
The Flight
I fly the site where the airspace and the property allow it, and get the shots the project calls for.
The Footage
You get a finished edit, raw clips for your own team, or stills, whichever fits where the footage is going.
HindLight Media is based in Rome, GA and works across northwest Georgia, rural acreage and job sites included.

Drone and aerial video questions
How much does drone videography cost?
Aerial work is quoted per project. The quote depends on the site, the flight time, and whether you need a finished video, raw footage or stills. Call or text 706.506.5349 and I'll put together an honest quote.
Are you licensed to fly a drone commercially?
Yes. Austin Wiggins is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, which is the certification the FAA requires for commercial drone flights.
What can you capture with a drone?
Real estate and land, roofs and structures, events and weddings, construction progress, and cinematic B-roll for brand and event films. If it helps to see it from above, I can go over whether a flight makes sense.
Can you add aerial shots to a wedding or listing video?
Yes. Aerials are often one part of a bigger job, like a real estate listing video or a wedding film. I plan them in with the rest of the shoot, wherever the venue or property allows it.
Do you fly in Rome, Cartersville and Calhoun?
Yes. HindLight Media is based in Rome, and Austin flies in Rome, Cartersville, Calhoun, Dalton and the surrounding northwest Georgia towns, including rural acreage and job sites.
